In a secret lab in the Middle East a bio-weapon with extreme lethality is being developed when an accident allows it to escape the lab. With a long incubation period it begins to spread rapidly throughout the world with no one yet aware that Pandora’s Box has once again been opened. As millions, then billions begin to perish the government, the military, and the medical professions struggle to cope with a disaster on a scale unimaginable. In a few short months 99% of the world’s population is gone and the few remaining survivors have little idea on what to do. For reasons unknown the Walker brothers Clint and Steven are the only known family members to have survived. In the mountains of central Oregon they begin to look for other survivors and begin to plan for the long, long trek back to a civilized society.
