Speaking of the interface, the FamilyPad 2 runs the user-friendly Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean allows you to customize your home screen, add widgets and make the FamilyPad 2 run the way you want it to.The system is powered by a dual-core ARM Cortex A9 processor with integrated quad-core ARM Mali 400 MP4 graphics. It also has 1GB of RAM, 8GB of hard drive storage, a microSD card slot that can expand up to 64GB, a micro-USB port and a mini HDMI port. There is also a built-in speaker and microphone. If you prefer a more immersive listening experience, you can use the 3.5mm headphone jack.The FamilyPad 2 also has two integrated cameras. The front 2-megapixel camera is used for 720p video chatting with friends and family. The rear 2-megapixel camera can also be used in video chats as well as to take high quality photos. The FamilyPad 2 has up to 10 hours of battery life with video playback (battery life may vary depending on use) and up to 6 days of standby time (also may vary).
